Letter to the family

Dear Host Family,

It is with great joy and enthusiasm that I write this letter to introduce myself and express my genuine interest in becoming your au pair.

My name is Dyelle, I’m Brazilian and currently living in Italy to improve my Italian and immerse myself in new cultures. I have a strong background in communication and marketing, but now I’m embracing a new chapter in my life — one that’s more human, filled with cultural exchange, and full of meaningful connections, especially with children, who have always had a special place in my heart.

I want to be an au pair because I believe it's a unique opportunity for personal growth and cultural enrichment. More than just helping with childcare, I want to be a kind, present, and positive figure in your children's lives — someone they feel safe with, learn from, and enjoy spending time with.

I believe your family should host me because I am responsible, affectionate, communicative, and always smiling. I’m also a very active person — I know how to swim, ride a bike, and I love running. I enjoy spending time outdoors and encouraging healthy habits. I really care about natural and healthy foods, and I’m happy to share and respect the family’s routine and preferences.

I’ve always had a natural connection with children, and I’m someone they trust and feel comfortable around. I’m organized, proactive, and patient — qualities I believe are essential when taking care of children. I'm also open-minded and adaptable, ready to support your family in any way I can.

Thank you so much for considering my profile. I’m truly excited about the possibility of becoming a part of your family, and I hope we can get to know each other better soon!

Warmly,
Dyelle

Experience

Although I haven’t worked formally as a nanny or caregiver for the elderly, I have valuable informal experience that has deeply shaped my sense of responsibility and care. I have helped take care of younger family members and supported elderly relatives with their daily routines, appointments, and companionship. These experiences taught me how important it is to be patient, attentive, and emotionally present — qualities I naturally carry with me.

My background in communication has also made me a good listener and someone who creates a warm, positive environment, which I believe is essential both for children and the elderly. I am a caring and active person — I enjoy cooking healthy meals, going for walks, and having meaningful conversations. I also speak English, Portuguese, and I'm learning Italian, which helps me connect with people from different backgrounds.

I would love to become a Nanny and Caregiver for the elderly abroad because I truly value cultural exchange and human connection. Living abroad while supporting a family or elder person in their day-to-day life is not only an opportunity to help, but also to learn, grow, and share kindness. I believe in taking care of others with respect, love, and dignity — and I would feel honored to do this while learning more about a new country and way of life.
