Letter to the family

Hello! I’m a Korean student currently studying French in France.
I’ve been living in France for almost a year now — I spent most of my time in a lovely small city called Besançon, and I’ll be moving to Paris at the end of May. From June, I’m looking for a part-time nanny position in Paris.
Back in Korea, I majored in French language and literature. I chose this major because I’ve always been passionate about literature, theatre, cinema, and fashion — and France stands out in all of these fields. That’s why I dreamed of studying in France, and this dream brought me here.
During my university years, I fell even more in love with the French language and culture, which led me to finally make the move.
I also have previous experience working as a nanny in Korea, and I genuinely love being around children. I’m a responsible, cheerful, and energetic person with a positive attitude. I always do my best in any task I’m given, and I build warm and trusting relationships with the children I care for. I find real joy in taking care of others — being a nanny has always made me happy.
In addition to childcare experience, I’ve worked in cafés, restaurants, and even a fashion company. These jobs helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility and adaptability. I believe these qualities, combined with my caring personality, make me a great fit for a nanny role.
Working as a nanny in Paris would also be a wonderful opportunity for me to improve my spoken French while doing something I truly enjoy. I’d be happy to become part of your child’s everyday life and provide them with safe, joyful, and nurturing care.

Experience

Before coming to France, I worked as a nanny in Korea. The family I worked for had a very busy father who was a doctor, and a mother who had to take care of three young children — two elementary school-aged boys and a little girl in kindergarten — mostly on her own, so they needed extra help.
At the time, I was a university student with classes mainly in the morning, so after my classes, I would pick up the two boys from school every day. We often went to the playground to play, and I also helped them with their homework.
The youngest child was a little girl, and I took care of her by playing with dolls, drawing pictures, and doing other creative activities at home. While their mother rested or took a short nap, I also prepared snacks for the kids and helped out with light household tasks like washing dishes, folding laundry, and tidying up their toys.
The children grew very close to me and always followed me well. I also had a great relationship with their parents. Unfortunately, I had to leave the job when I moved to France, but I truly cherished my time with the children and always felt happy and fulfilled working with them. That's why now that I'm leaving in France. I would love to work as a nanny here I believe I can do a great job caring for children and at the same time, it would be a wonderful opportunity for me to improve my sparkle French through daily conversation and interaction
