Letter to the family

Dear Family,

Hi there! My name is Maria and I am 20 years old. I was born and raised in Colombia, a beautiful country in South America, but I currently live in the United States. I come from a big family full of love and fun. I grew up with little brothers and cousins who I used to take care of. Because of that I have always loved caring for children and spending time with them.

I graduated from high school in 2021 and I now go to Seton Hall University. I speak English and Spanish, but I would love to learn more languages since it is one of my passions.

I have always wanted to be an Au Pair or/and Live-in Tutor. I would love to live abroad while working on what I like. I love working with kids, so being an Au Pair would be an amazing and memorable experience.

I am responsible, patient, trustworthy, multitasking, and energetic, but what sets me apart from the other Au Pairs is the love I have for children. I have the skills you need and the experience to back it up. I have more than five years of paid experience as a babysitter and more than ten years of non-paid experience.

Experience

I would love to become an Au Pair or/and Live-in Tutor abroad because I consider it an experience that I will never forget. I would gain a second family and create meaningful connections. The kids and I would teach each other things and I would have the privilege of helping them grow, learn, and smile. I would travel and have authentic experiences.
