Hello, my name is Destiny, I am 22 years old, and I was born and raised in Italy, by Nigerian parents. I am currently a university student with a flexible schedule and I am interested in becoming your Au Pair and Nanny, as I truly enjoy spending time with children and being a part of their growth and discovery of the world.

What I love most about being a babysitter is the light-heartedness and affection that come from being around children. In a way, I’ve been a babysitter my whole life. Throughout my teenage years, I cared for the children of families in my neighborhood, and by the age of ten, I already knew how to change a diaper. From age 16 to 18, I also gained experience taking care of my premature baby sister, which taught me what real patience is. At 17, I looked after two six-year-old children at the same time, helping them with homework, preparing their lunch and planning fun activities.

During my third year of high school, I also took part in a school-to-work program at an elementary school. My role was to assist the teacher during classwork and help prepare English songs for the end-of-year performance. This experience reinforced my ability to support children in an educational setting and lead me to teach them English online later on.

I believe I would be a great fit for your family because I am empathetic, patient, and dependable. I know how to cook, keep a household tidy and communicate openly and respectfully. I would love to bring a part of both of my cultures into your home and at the same time learn more about yours. I make the best fresh pasta! Is that considered a bribe? Lol
