Letter to the family

Hiiii I'm Zeniah :) I'm a recent college grad with a degree in psychology and recently been an au pair in Australia for the past year. I’ve gotten to backpack solo for about 3 months before I moved to Australia and I can say I’ve grown a lot and have such a new perspective on life and myself over my journey. I grew up in a family of 6 so it was always hectic but there was so much love. It’s cause of my family im the way i am today, such an enthusiastic and positive individual who has so much joy for life. I've always loved kids since growing up. I babysat and tutored children for most of my high school. When i graduated I started working in a daycare for the first 2 years of my college and was a 2-year-old teacher which i loved and enjoyed so much. I love the innocence of children and being able to be there and impact their life's is such a privilege to have. Not only will i impact their lives but they will impact mine also.

Experience

Since im the youngest in my family I was given the role of babysitter haha. I basically did it all throughout highschool and I babysat other kids from their friends and that's how I made money while in high school. Once I graduated I worked at a daycare and was an assistant teacher to 2-year-olds. I aided in their process of potty training and helped them with the basics in terms of the alphabet, and numbers and implementing routine in their lives. I also would help with the school-age children as I already had experience with working with them. I was an au pair to 3 children in Perth Australia from july 2025- January 2026 ages 2, 7 and 9 and spend most of my time with the 2 year old. More recently was an au pair for a family with 2 younger boys within Melbourne Australia ages 5 months old and 3 years old from January 2025 - April 2025.
