Dear future host,
I am an experienced childcare practitioner back in the UK, I studied and worked in nursery (kindergarten) from 17 on and off untill now I am 27. I was an au pair in Melbourne for nearly 1 year to 2 beautiful girls (10&12) and this experience was so great I would like to be an au pair again, this time on the west coast (I am currently in Perth and have fallen in love with WA already)! I have had paediatric first aid in the past (no longer valid), worked with children with additional needs and multiple trainings for childrens emotions/ safety and food hygiene. I am passionate about childrens learning and development but also just love the freedom of play, creativity and being silly, which I think both are important. I am also a very experienced cleaner and house keeper, so I understand the practicalities of keeping a home running and am confident in my skills. Mainly, I love the bond you create with the children and the fact you create a new family on the other side of the world, I think it is special and you would never find it with any other job!
