I have wide-ranging experience in childcare. Of course I have worked as an an independent babysitter as would be expected! But, I have also spent 3 years volunteering in a crèche with toddlers. I then spent a year working as a teaching and marking assistant and tutor of maths and English for children aged 3-12 under Kumon. I also worked as a mother's help for a mother with a new-born in my hometown.

Most recently I have held numerous live in child care jobs. The first two were as an au pair and involved both shared and sole charge of the children, imaginative role play, arts and crafts and trips to the park. I was also required to pick up and drop off 3 children aged 3,6 and 9 to and from school and nursery (using the tube) co-ordinate homework once back and cook them a healthy dinner. Most recently I have worked as a 24/7 holiday nanny for UHNW families in London and the countryside over the Christmas and summer vacation periods.

Altogether, this means I have over 4 years of experience with children aged 0-13!.

I am an au pair because I adore being around children, they bring me joy and I think it is an honour to help shape them in even a small way. I have always gravitated towards children so the idea of becoming part of a family and forming a bond with the children really excites me.
