Sveva (19 / Ms. ), Italian, Babysitter living in Italy looking for Au Pair job in Netherlands & United Kingdom for 6-9 Months

Dear family, hello!
I'm Sveva, I'm 19 years old and I come from Piacenza, Italy.

I recently completed my studies at the Liceo delle Scienze Umane with an International Economic-Social option, graduating in July of this year. During these 5 years, I had the opportunity to study not only humanistic and social subjects, but also to acquire linguistic skills, especially in French (in which I have a good level) and English (in which I have a fair level).

I have gained two significant work experiences, both related to the world of childhood, which have deeply enriched me both personally and professionally. I worked as a babysitter with an "on-call" contract and, at the same time, I worked as an athletics coach for children throughout the year. These experiences have confirmed to me how rewarding it is to work with children: their energy and their joy of life transmit a unique happiness to me.

The world of sport is one of my greatest passions. I have practiced athletics for many years and, thanks to my role as a coach, I have been lucky enough to combine this passion of mine with my love for children. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to contribute to their growth, both physically and personally, through sport.

I would really like to be an au pair because I believe it is the right experience to combine my love for children with the possibility of growing up, learning to "get by on my own" and developing new language skills. I love being surrounded by the love that only children can transmit, it gratifies me to see them change and grow. The time spent with children is an experience that gives me satisfaction: their curiosity and enthusiasm are contagious. Furthermore, they are often the ones who give important teachings: they unconsciously remind you to look at the world with eyes full of joy and wonder.

I live in a family of 4 people: my mother, my father, my brother and me. Since I was little, my family has provided me with a deep education, my mom and dad taught me to always help with the housework: I help do the laundry, hang out the clothes, keep the house clean and tidy, wash the dishes and cook. I have always shared a bedroom with my older brother, our parents taught us the importance of sharing and never being selfish.

As for my character, the people around me describe me as a very sunny, outgoing and smart girl! In my life I am surrounded by love from all my family and friends and for this I feel extremely lucky.

I am really excited to have the opportunity to do this experience, I can't wait to meet my future host family!
