Well, I am a 19-year-old student of English and Spanish at the University of Havana, very family-oriented and affectionate. I would like to be an Au Pair because I think it is an admirable job, taking care of elderly people who need it is very necessary and also nice. I would also love to get to know other cultures, mainly from English-speaking countries to develop my skills with that language. I think that the family should host me because as a young Cuban, I have that feeling of familiarity and commitment typical of Cubans, as well as youth and energy to spare to care for and assist any elderly person in anything they need. I think I qualify for this position because there is nothing more important in this job than the interest and desire to be of help to someone who needs it, and I have that in abundance. In addition, my age provides me with many privileges that other older people may lack, such as vitality.
