Letter to the family

I have worked as a veterinary technician/nurse for 8 years, as well as a housekeeper, cook, pastry chef, and nanny. I have primarily helped one of the veterinarians I work under out with her two children, the 4 year old since he was an infant and the 1.5 yr old since she was born as well. I have also worked with a family long term with their 11 and 13 yr old as well. I absolutely adore helping in any way I can, raising children takes a team for sure! Helping soothe tantrums and develop communication and patience skills is incredibly rewarding and fostering development of young minds is so crucial. I have also gone to school for working within human healthcare, and enjoy working with the elderly now as well.

I will be renting an AirBnB for the month of February and March, and am looking for possible childcare or elderly care work during this time and possibly longer if it is a good fit. I am driving my vehicle down from the USA and will have it with me as well for transportation.

Experience

My experience outside of childcare within geriatric work: I have volunteered in both public and private nursing homes here in the USA, as well as worked with patients of mine while in clinical rotations at school for human healthcare, and find making the elderly feel heard and cared for as rewarding as helping children. They deserve the best care as well.
