Paula (26 / Ms. ), Colombian, Dancer living in Portugal looking for Au Pair job in Netherlands & Portugal for 10-12 Months

Hi, my name is Paula. I am from Colombia. I am currently an au pair in Portugal I am 26 years old. My mother tongue is Spanish. I have a basic of English, I finished high school at the Normal Superior School which focuses the student on the training of kindergarten and elementary school teachers. I did a bachelor’s degree in child pedagogy. During my studies, I learned sign language to communicate with deaf children. I am a cheerful, social, and organized person who learns easily. Children tend to appreciate me a lot. I am also a professional salsa and bachata dancer, i was world champion 2 years ago.

I have 11 siblings. I am the oldest of my siblings. I have always been an example for them. I took care of them since I was 13 years old because my parents worked all day. I have a sister with special needs, and I took care of her since she was 2 years old. I decided to study Child Pedagogy because of the love I have for children, the experience with my siblings, and the desire to meet the needs of each of the children. In order to understand their behavior, help them with an innovative understanding of childhood and the education and care they require.
