Hi! My name is Izzy and I am 20 years old. I was born and raised in Germany, my dad is English though, so I grew up bilingual and have a British passport. My mum is half Iranian, so there are a lot of cultures coming together at home:)
I currently live in Portsmouth, as I am completing my 3-year Undergraduate course in Childhood and Youth Studies. I believe passing on knowledge is the core priority when it comes to interacting with children. I make in a point to always speak to them on eye-level and treat them with the upmost respect. We can learn a lot from children, be it the way they view the world or they treat nature and other people. I am playful and vow myself to never lose my inner child. I also know how important boundaries can be when it comes to raising children and always opt for a child-centred approach. I learn a lot in my course, that I am keen on implementing in practice. I would like to spend my summer 2026 in London, and think this would be best possible by connecting it to my passion for childcare.
