My name is Markéta, I am 18 years old, and I am a high school student from the Czech Republic. I would like to apply for the position of Au Pair for the month of August this summer. I would love to spend meaningful time abroad, get to know a new culture, and meet new people. I believe that such experiences and encounters can help a person grow and move forward in life.
The role of Au Pair greatly appeals to me because I have been a Scout leader for a year, and I really enjoy working with children. Additionally, I often take care of my cousin's children, which has given me a lot of experience in looking after children throughout the day.
Last year, I spent five months in Austria, where I attended a local school and lived with a family with six children. This experience helped me quickly adapt to a new environment and familiarize myself with the everyday customs and routines of foreign families.
If I were to briefly introduce myself, I would say that I am a communicative and open-minded girl who enjoys meeting new people and has no trouble adapting to new environments. In my free time, besides scouting, I enjoy various sports and play the saxophone.
