Letter to the family

Dear host family,
Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Clara , I come from Prato, in Tuscany, Italy (a small city near Florence), and I attend a local linguistic school where I study three languages: English, Spanish and German. This is my fourth year of school, next year will be the final one before University, and I'll soon turn eighteen by April 2020.
I have always had an intrest in languages, that's the reason why I chose to attend a linguistic school, and also to take other afternoon courses in order to improve my level of the languages that I currently study, but also to learn new ones, for example I took an afternoon chinese course lately.

In addition, I like spending my free time going to dance classes, and also attending a scout group, that are the two main activities that I carry out weekly.
What's more, I am also a tutoring teacher, and a volunteer for a communiy of people with impairment.
I like sharing my time with friends and with my family, I have a fiveteen-years-old-brother, and a golden retriever called Taita.
I love all kind of pets, and I believe that they can get our lives better!
I consider myself an ambitious, diligent and curious girl. I am always intrested in learning something new, and I always try to challenge myself with new passions and hobbies. I try to do everything with passion and a smile on my face :D

Talking about my personal time spent taking care of children,I can mention that in Summer I worked as a babysitter in cooperation with an australian University here in Prato. I looked after an australian four-years-old-baby for a few days, starting at 7 in the morning and ending at 6 in the afternoon. I had a great time with her, I usually took her to the park, or for a walk around the city centre, we took Ice cream, and then I put her in bed after lunch.
I also worked as entertainer for a summer camp at the local church. I used to look after classes of fourty children form six to fourteen years old with other two or three entertainers. I used to work from 8a.m to 6 p.m everyday except Saturday and Sunday for two months (June and July).
This winter I also went to Rome with my scout group where I got to know children that had been abandoned by their families, and we spent three days together, playing, drawing, cooking and enjoying ourselves.

I believe that spending time with children has changed positively myself. I learned being patient, authentic, positive and more cheerful.
I love spending time with children even because, since I see myself as an empathic person, I think I can get along with them quite well.

I'd be enthusiastic about having the possibility of becoming an AuPair girl because I want to improve my level of English, and I think that the best way to do that is learning having fun, and what's better than looking after children, that's a thing that I love to do, in England?
