Dear Host Family,

My name is Alice, I am 19 years old, and I currently study at the University of Bologna. My degree is in Languages and Technologies for Intercultural Communication, and I study German and English. I have a strong interest in languages and different cultures, and I would love to become an Au Pair during the summer, when I don’t have university classes.

I would like to be an Au Pair because it is my dream to improve my German and to have a new and exciting experience in another country. I believe that living with a host family is the best way to learn a language and to really understand a new culture. I also want to grow as a person and become more independent.

I really love spending time with children, and I enjoy helping others. For five years, I worked as a camp leader at a summer camp. Thanks to that experience, I learned how to be patient, creative, and responsible. I know how to play, do crafts, and communicate with kids in a kind and caring way.

I believe I could be a great Au Pair for your family because I am friendly, open-minded, and motivated. I would love to take care of your children and become part of your daily life. I can also share my Italian culture, and maybe we could even cook some pasta or pizza together!
