Dear Host Family,

1. Who I Am
My name is Izabella, and I’m 18 years old. I grew up in a big, loving family where children were always at the heart of daily life. Being surrounded by siblings, cousins, and family friends taught me how to care for others from a young age. I’m nurturing, responsible, and genuinely enjoy being around kids—I’ve always been the one who jumps in to help with the little ones, and it comes naturally to me.

2. Why I Want to Become an Au Pair & Nanny
It has always been my dream to travel the world and experience life through different cultures and communities. Becoming an Au Pair is the perfect opportunity to do that while doing something meaningful—helping care for children and supporting a family. I love the idea of becoming part of a home, building trust with the kids, and being someone they can look up to and rely on.

3. Why You Should Host Me
Growing up, I was lucky to have several foreign exchange students become some of my closest friends. I even hosted a student from Italy in my home, which gave me firsthand experience in welcoming and adjusting to new cultural perspectives. These experiences have made me adaptable, open-minded, and respectful of all cultures. I know how to navigate differences with kindness and curiosity, and I would bring that same openness and warmth into your home.

4. Why I Qualify for the Position
I have lots of hands-on experience caring for children, from toddlers to preteens, thanks to my large family and babysitting roles. I’m calm under pressure, organized, and I truly care about helping kids feel safe, seen, and supported. I’m also flexible and ready to help with whatever your family needs—whether that’s daily routines, school help, meal prep, or simply being a positive role model.

Experience

While I have not officially worked as an Au Pair yet, I have years of hands-on experience caring for children. I grew up as the oldest sibling and cousin in a big, close-knit family, so taking care of younger children has always been a natural part of my life. From helping with daily routines like meals and bedtime, to playing, tutoring, and comforting them when they’re upset—I’ve done it all, and I love it. I’ve also babysat for family friends, often caring for multiple children at once, and I’ve always been known as someone people can count on when it comes to kids.

I want to become an Au Pair abroad because I’ve always dreamed of traveling and learning from new cultures—and this is a way I can do that while making a real difference in a family’s life. I’ve grown up with foreign exchange students as close friends, and I even hosted a student from Italy in my home, so I already know how rewarding and eye-opening cultural exchange can be. I’m excited about the chance to become part of a family, care for their children with love and responsibility, and grow as a person through this experience.
