Hello!!
I am Christina and I am from Greece. I am 20 years old, which means that I am in my first year of IB ( International Baccalaureate). I currently live in Hong Kong because I have a scholarship for Li Po Chun which is a part of the UNITED WORLD COLLEGES. Central to the ethos of UWC is the belief that education can bring together young people from all backgrounds on the basis of their shared humanity, to engage with the possibility of social change through courageous action, personal example and selfless leadership. It is a global education movement that makes education a force to unite people, nations and cultures
for peace and a sustainable future. Living in a school like this and having seen the impact that a multicultural and diverse community had on me, I am so excited to experience different cultures and traditions. I think that what qualifies me as an aupair is my willingness to learn from different people and always try to do my best. I am eager to learn from the people around me, understand different perspectives, challenge myself and become the best version of myself. I also love kids and over the past summer I worked at a summer camp since I was taking care of children for two months. We were living together, playing sports and learning from each other. The first month I worked with boys from 9-11 and the second one with girls 10-13. I also speak Greek, English as a native speaker , italian (C2 certificate) , french and German ( C1 certificate) , a bit of spanish ( no certificate), and I am currently learning Mandarin in Hong Kong.
