My name is Isabella, I’m 17 years old and I come from Puebla, a beautiful and traditional city in Mexico. I recently graduated from high school, and I decided to take a semester before starting university in January. I come from a big and loving family, and I’m especially close to my 10-year-old younger sister and my older sister, who is also going on an exchange program. I have always loved spending time with children, which is why I have cared for my sister and little cousins since I was young. My family has taught me the importance of respect, responsibility, and empathy. I am also part of a healthy and supportive circle of friends who help me grow and stay motivated. I consider myself a very committed and curious person, always ready to learn and try new things.

Experience

I would like to become an Au Pair abroad because I believe it is a life-changing opportunity to grow as a person while doing something meaningful. I truly enjoy spending time with children, helping them learn, feel safe, and have fun. Being an Au Pair is the perfect way to combine my love for childcare with my passion for discovering new cultures, learning languages, and building international connections.

I previously participated in a student exchange program in Canada, and that experience helped me become more independent and confident. Now, I want to live daily life in another country, and I chose Italy because part of my family is Italian. My father and older sister speak the language, and I would love to learn and improve my Italian while being immersed in the culture. I believe that being an Au Pair will allow me to develop valuable skills, make special memories, and create strong bonds with a host family before starting university.
