Letter to the family
Originally translated from Español
Hello, family!
My name is Mariam, and I am 22 years old. I come from Venezuela, a country rich in culture and traditions. I would be delighted to become your au pair and take care of your little treasures. I love spending time with children because their joy and curiosity make every day special.
I am passionate about crafts and learning new languages. My desire is to immerse myself in French culture while sharing mine with you. I am convinced that this experience will be enriching for all of us.
I hope to create unforgettable memories with your family and participate in daily life. Together we can share games, stories, and moments of joy.
Thank you for considering my application. I hope to have the opportunity to be part of your family and learn about your culture.
I WANT TO BE AN AU PAIR WHY:
My main motivation for being an au pair is that I love spending time with children and would love to experience this in Europe. Since I was little, it has always been my dream to discover France. My mother also visited France when she was younger, and I'd like to recreate some of her photos and share them with my family.
I also want to become more fluent in French, so this experience is a wonderful opportunity to grow both personally and culturally.
Why the family should host me:
I love talking and connecting with people. I'm very outgoing and take advantage of any opportunity to socialize. Dancing is one of my passions, and I always look for moments to move and enjoy music.
I also consider myself a kind, cheerful, and grateful person. I have an adventurous spirit that drives me to explore new experiences and learn from every situation. I love reading and watching movies, as well as writing and learning new things, such as programming, another language, or simply cooking.
I really want to teach typical Venezuelan dishes, because cooking is a fundamental part of our culture. I'm excited about what life has to offer and I always try to transmit that positive energy to those around me. I'm very confident that I will share the affection and love with their children in a very sincere way.
Why I qualify:
I have a brother who is 6 years younger than me, and I have always enjoyed taking care of him and spending time with him. I also worked as a nanny for a few months for two adorable little ones, ages 10 and 3. This experience allowed me to develop childcare skills and learn how to interact effectively with children of different ages.
I also did community service in college at a children's dance school, where we danced and had a lot of fun with the little ones in the class. This activity was not only rewarding but also helped me foster creativity and artistic expression in the children.
