Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Katherine, and I’m a caring, responsible childcare provider from Sydney with over 10 years of experience. I’ve worked with children of all ages through dance and gymnastics coaching, special needs support, school routines, and live-in care.

I’m becoming an au pair to formally expand on the work I’ve already loved doing; supporting families in a meaningful, hands-on way while experiencing life abroad. I’m First Aid and CPR certified, with a healthcare background, and I bring a calm, trustworthy presence to any home.

I’d love the opportunity to support your family in day-to-day life and create a warm, positive environment for your children. I’m happy to help wherever needed and would feel genuinely grateful to be welcomed into your home.

Experience

While I haven’t formally worked as an au pair before, I’ve supported families for over 10 years in roles that reflect the same level of care and responsibility. I’ve coached dance, handled school runs, provided live-in care whilst families were travelling, and still currently coach gymnastics and work with children with special needs.

In addition to my childcare and coaching experience, I've worked the past 3 years in both medical clinic and hospital settings after obtaining my Bachelor's Degree, and bring a calm, safety-conscious approach to care. I'm First Aid and CPR certified, with hands-on experience in healthcare environments.

I’ve always loved creating safe, structured, and happy environments for kids; and becoming an au pair abroad allows me to do this in a more immersive way while experiencing life in a new culture. I’m especially excited to contribute to a household abroad and become a trusted part of a family's daily life.
