Hello,

My name is Maria, I am 20 years old and I am originally from Colombia. I grew up in Quebec, Canada, which allowed me to become bilingual in French and Spanish, while having a good level of functional English. Currently, I am taking a break from my studies because I did not yet know which academic path to follow for my future job. This reflection gave me the desire to live a new cultural experience, which is why I wish to become an Au Pair within a family.

I am extremely interested in the Au Pair position for the coming year. This experience would not only allow me to discover a new culture, but also to perfect my English language skills. I grew up with children; my mother had a daycare and I have a little brother. I have always had great pleasure in taking care of children, and I am convinced that this experience will allow me to develop my communication and responsibility management skills.

I am a responsible, attentive and trustworthy person. My family experience, where I often took care of children from a young age, allowed me to acquire patience as well as creativity in organizing activities. Having grown up in Quebec, I am also very adaptable to new cultures.

I think I am an ideal candidate for your family, because I am open-minded, adaptable and always ready to help. I love children and I am also willing to help you with household chores to maintain a harmonious environment within your family.
