Letter to the family

My name is Miriam, an 18-year-old student currently awaiting my A-level results in August and hoping to start a degree in English Language and linguistics a The University of Birmingham in September.
I'm very passionate about caring for children and enjoy activities such as messy play, sports and fun games. I feel as though I would be an ideal candidate as an au pair for a family as I am outgoing, chatty and most of all prioritise the child in all situations.

Experience

My previous experience in childcare involves babysitting for three different families on various occasions, two families had 3 children and one had 2, so I am experienced with a variety of ages and age-appropriate fun. Additionally, I have previously worked for Nuffield health as a junior activities assistant, taking care of a number of children on both weekends and weekdays aiming to make their 'kids club' experience as fun as possible. Becoming an au pair for me appears to be one of the most beneficial but also fun jobs to do at a young age and will prepare me for future life whilst helping other people out.
