Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Lilou, and I’m a 20-year-old from the beautiful region of Brittany, France. I’m currently finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Management at Rennes School of Business, and this year, I’m living an incredible experience in Cyprus as part of an Erasmus exchange program. I’m studying in English and loving the chance to meet people from all over the world.

Becoming an Au Pair is something I’ve dreamed of because it brings together two things I love: spending time with children and exploring new cultures. I enjoy being part of a family atmosphere, sharing experiences, and creating special bonds that go beyond just helping with childcare.

Why should you host me? I’m a caring, positive, and responsible person with solid experience looking after children of all ages. Since September 2022, I’ve been babysitting two wonderful kids, Brune (6 years old) and Lise (3 years old), three times a week. I’m used to managing routines, organizing fun activities, and helping children feel safe and happy. Plus, I’d love to share my culture and language with your family while learning from you in return!

I’m ready to take on this role with energy and enthusiasm. I believe that being an Au Pair is not just about helping out—it’s about becoming part of a family, exchanging traditions, and growing together.

Experience

Over the past few years, I’ve gained valuable experience taking care of children. Since September 2022, I’ve been babysitting Brune (now 6 years old) and Lise (now 3 years old) three times a week. I help with meals, bath time, bedtime, and planning fun activities to keep them entertained. I’ve also cared for younger cousins and kids of different ages, so I’m confident adapting to various needs and personalities.

I’d love to become an Au Pair abroad because it’s the perfect mix of doing what I love—spending time with kids—and discovering a new culture. It’s such a meaningful way to learn, grow, and create amazing memories with a family while sharing my language and traditions with them.
