Dear Host Family,

My name is Lise, I am 20 years old, and I am currently studying law in Rennes, France. I am excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair for your family, as I have always enjoyed working with children and would love to immerse myself in a new culture while sharing my own.

I have gained extensive experience in childcare over the past five years. I hold a BAFA (Brevet d'Aptitude aux Fonctions d'Animateur), which has allowed me to work in a leisure center for children aged 3 to 16. During this time, I organized activities, supervised outings, and ensured the well-being of the children. In addition, I have done numerous babysitting jobs. Currently, alongside my university studies, I take care of three children (aged 8 months, 2 years, and 5 years) every morning and evening, assisting with waking up, dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and school drop-offs and pick-ups.

I am a responsible, dynamic, and dedicated person who always commits fully to any task I undertake. Creativity is one of my strong suits—I play both the guitar and the piano, and I also enjoy sewing gifts for my loved ones in my free time. Additionally, I have a passion for sports, particularly team sports, having played football and basketball for several years in a club.

As the eldest of three siblings, I have naturally developed a nurturing and caring attitude. Growing up in a small town in Brittany, I have learned the importance of family values and adaptability. I also adore animals and have both a cat and a rabbit at home.

I believe I would be a great fit for your family because of my extensive experience, responsible nature, and enthusiasm for engaging with children through creative and educational activities. I would love the opportunity to become a part of your daily life, helping with childcare responsibilities while also learning from and contributing to your family culture.

Experience

I have extensive experience in childcare, having worked for five years in a leisure center with children aged 3 to 16, as well as providing regular babysitting services. Currently, I care for three young children daily, managing their routines and well-being. I want to become an Au Pair abroad because I love discovering new cultures and traveling. I have already visited Ireland, Cuba, Spain, Italy, and Portugal, and I believe that living with a host family is the best way to immerse myself in a new culture while sharing my own. This experience would allow me to combine my passion for childcare with my love for cultural exchange.
