Hi, my name is Kacey, I am currently coming to an end of my 2-year college course to gain my level 3 in early years and childcare, which I will be receiving in august. During my course I have learnt a range of different things to help me care for children the best I can, this includes safeguarding, supporting children’s play, child development and much more. During my course I have also been doing placement, at a nursery and school, giving me around 800 hours of experience working with children aged 0-6 years.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family as well as travelling, going to the gym and reading. In my spare time I also babysit for local families, looking after children aged 2-13 years old. I have worked for a local family run butchers for nearly 4 years, in this job I have a range of roles including serving customers, dealing with orders and cleaning at the end of the day.

I am from a large family meaning I have always been around young children, helping to look after them. This is one of the main reasons I want to work in childcare. I would like to become an Au pair or nanny to gain further hands-on experience. I have a passion for working with young children to help them develop and become the best version of themselves. I am a motivated, caring and kind individual and I also have good communication and interpersonal skills. I am reliable and hard-working and have the ability to use my own initiative as well as working well as part of a team.
