Who are you?

I am Laura, a 26-year-old Colombian woman with a great passion for learning, culture and childcare. I currently live in Brazil, where I am seeking to improve my knowledge of the Portuguese language and better integrate into this culture. I am a responsible, honest and committed person, with a positive attitude and a great ability to adapt to new environments and experiences.

Why do you want to be an Au Pair?

I want to be an Au Pair because I love working with children and contributing to their development through play, teaching and affection. This experience allows me to immerse myself in new cultures, strengthen my language skills and develop my independence and interpersonal skills. In addition, I have already been an Au Pair in Germany and this experience reaffirmed my vocation to care for and guide children while sharing my culture and values.

A family should choose me because I am a trustworthy, responsible person with experience in childcare. My commitment and dedication ensure that children are in a safe environment, full of learning and fun. In addition, I have organizational skills, am patient and proactive, which allows me to easily adapt to family dynamics and contribute positively to the education and well-being of children.

Why are you qualified for the position?

I am qualified for the position because I already have experience as an Au Pair in Germany, where I worked from May 2024 to January 2025. I ended my program early for personal reasons and because my host family only needed me for that period. This experience allowed me to develop skills in childcare, managing daily routines and teaching new languages ​​and customs to children. In addition, my maturity, independence and communication skills make me able to adapt to any family and environment.
