Luna (21 / Ms. ), Danish, Student - High School living in Denmark looking for Au Pair job in Australia & New Zealand for 10-12 Months

I am an 18-year-old girl, who would like to spend a year as an au pair when I have finished school. Right now I live with my family in a small town called Ringkøbing in Denmark, where I use my time on school, work and friends. Friends and family would describe me as a friendly and fun person, that is very hardworking and determined to do my best. The reason why I want to become an Au Pair is that I want to experience a new culture while doing something meaningful, like watching children. I have been an exchange student in Germany, which have learned me how to adapt to a new family and culture. Other than that I have a big desire to get a "third" family since I already have one in Denmark and one in Germany.

When I was 14 years old I started working at a supermarket, where I worked for 4 years, which have learned me responsibility and cleaning skills. When I had just turned18 I started working in Homecare, where I take care of the elderly. In this job, I also have to help the elders on the toilet or in the shower, and I am therefore not afraid of diaper changes etc. When I was in primary school I participated in a program called "Junior-nursery teacher", where I spend 10 afternoons taking care of children in daycare.
