My name is Laryssa, and I am from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I recently graduated as a dentist, and I am excited to embark on a new journey as an au pair. I want to take a few months to immerse myself in a different culture and experience life from a new perspective before I begin the process of revalidating my dental degree in the United States and starting my career as a dentist in the US.

During my time at university, I gained valuable experience working with children in a clinical setting, in that case; particularly in Pediatric Dentistry. I had the privilege of taking care of the oral health of many children, and these interactions taught me a lot about patience, empathy, and the importance of creating a positive environment for kids. My young patients always felt comfortable with me, and I took great care in ensuring they had a pleasant experience, which often led to strong, trusting relationships.
