Letter to the family

Hi lovely families! My name is Isadora (I prefer Izzy because it is easier) and I was born in Australia. I come from a Brazilian background and lived there for a year when I was young. I grew up in small rural towns playing a lot of sport and music, which I still love to this day. I love cooking (and eating) good food, photography, sport, music, animals, adventures and learning about new cultures. Having worked as a netball sporting coach, debating coach, before-and-after school educator in a primary school, and sales assistant at Toy World, I have considerable experience interacting with children. Currently, I am working full-time as an administrative assistant at a law firm while studying Business/Creative Industries part-time. I would love to have the opportunity to be an au pair as I have a desire for travel and creating memories while I am still young.

Experience

I have never had the pleasure of being an Au Pair so I would love to be able to have that opportunity in 2025/2026. I have always had a good relationship with children so I love being able to work with them in my job. I have coached children in netball and debating, helped baby-sit children for families we know, and I worked at a Toy Store for 3 years so, obviously I met and interacted with hundreds of kids. I have also worked as a before-and-after school educator at a primary school. We ran activities, prepared food and looked after and played with the children to keep them occupied before they went to school or when they were waiting for their parents to pick them up after school. As I have a desire for travelling the world, meeting people and experiencing new cultures, I believe becoming an Au Pair is a great start to living overseas while being comfortable in your new home with your host family.
As I love working with children, this job would allow me to assist families and be the “big sister” to the kids to take the stress and workload off the parents.
