Letter to the family

Dear host family
Hi! I'm Sofia, I’m soon 20 and I live in Rome. Having this experience has always been my dream, I am a sunny girl and full of surprises. I hope to find a family that matches my spirit and who wants to share experiences with me and learn different cultures from each other.

My personality
I am very cheerful, funny and sunny. But also determined. I like to learn new things and I am very curious. I like to make new friends and chat a lot. I like to be independent and responsible

My family and friends
I have a younger brother with whom I am very close. In the family we are 4 and we also have a very cute dog. We live in Rome

My education
I attended a scientific high school, I have a Cambridge IGCSE certificate, I worked in a bar during the summer and I also worked as a babysitter. Next year I would like to continue my studies with university, but I don't know exactly what.

What I do in my free time
I like drawing and art, I do kickboxing but I like all kinds of sports, especially swimming and soccer. I play the piano and the flute. I really like reading and watching TV series or movies. In my free time I also like going out with friends. I also have a driving license, I use the car every day to get around a big city like Rome and I like driving

My experience with kids
I often babysit my cousin or brother, so I'm used to having kids at home. I worked as a babysitter during the summer and I get along very well with kids.

My language skills
I speak Italian as my mother tongue, I have a good knowledge of English and the basics of Spanish learned at school.

My motivation
I would like to do this experience to improve my English and gain new work experiences. I would also like to travel, meet new people, see new places. And I hope that in this period I can clear my mind about my future and what I want to do because I am very undecided

My expectations
my ideal family is kind and cheerful, they will make me feel part of the family, with whom I can talk. they will allow me to take care of the children but also in my free time to go out and visit new places and the local culture and continue to dedicate myself to my passions
