Hello, host families!

My name is Renato Veliz, I am 18 years old, and I am from Chile. I consider myself a patient, creative, and responsible person—qualities that are essential for childcare. I am also very reasonable and empathetic, and I strongly believe in the power of communication. In my family, we always say that words are stronger than anything, so I prefer to interact with children through understanding and dialogue, helping them express themselves and understand their surroundings in a positive way.

I have experience with young children since I have cousins who are 3 years old and a few months old, and I spend time with them and help take care of them. I like keeping them entertained with games, stories, and fun activities so they never get bored while also ensuring a safe and affectionate environment. Additionally, I know how to cook and am willing to help with light household tasks if needed.

I want to become an Au Pair because I would love to experience life in another country, learn about a new culture, and improve my skills in. I also look forward to becoming part of a family where we can share experiences and learn from each other.

I speak conversational English, which will allow me to communicate easily with the family and children. Additionally, I know how to drive, which could be useful if the family requires it.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, meditating, writing, listening to music, and going for walks. I am also passionate about learning new things, especially languages and different cultures. I love organizing activities that are both educational and fun, such as reading stories, playing outdoors, or doing crafts. I always try to encourage children’s creativity and imagination.

I would love to find a family where we can share and learn together. I am open to adapting to new routines and customs, and I would love to form a close bond with the children and support them in their daily lives.
