Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Sara, I’m 24 years old, and I’m from a small town in central Italy near the coast. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Parma, and I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree in the same field at the University of Milan.

I would love to become an Au Pair because I believe it would be a unique opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, meet new people, explore new places, and experience different cultures. I’m excited to embrace new challenges and learn more about the world around me.

I have experience working with children, as I have often worked as a babysitter. Additionally, I have some experience working in an office and completed an internship to finish my experimental thesis in Computer Science. I’m also passionate about introducing children to the world of technology and computer science, and I would love to share some fun educational games with them, provided that the parents agree.

I believe I would be a great fit for your family because I’m responsible, organized, and eager to help with everyday tasks while also creating fun and educational experiences for the children.

Experience

Although I have not yet worked as an Au Pair, I have significant experience working with children through babysitting. I have always enjoyed spending time with kids, and I find it fulfilling to be able to help them learn, grow, and have fun. My experience as a babysitter has helped me develop patience, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility, which I believe will be useful in an Au Pair role.

I would like to become an Au Pair abroad because it offers a unique opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture while doing something that I truly enjoy—working with children. Living in a different country would allow me to learn more about diverse cultures, customs, and languages, and I would be excited to share my experiences and knowledge while learning from others. Additionally, becoming an Au Pair will give me a chance to gain new skills, improve my language abilities, and build lasting relationships with a host family.
