I am Annalena, 22 years old from Germany. To be precise, I come from the beautiful Allgäu in Bavaria and live right next to the mountains. I love nature and like to swim in one of the many lakes here in Bavaria. I also like to read or spend my time with horses or walk dogs...
After fulfilling my dream of traveling to Canada after a long time, it was no question for me what kind of work there would be for me. I am still young but already have 5 1/2 years of experience working with children. The children I deal with have mild to severe mental and physical disabilities. After my internship in a kindergarten group for children with mental disabilities, it was clear to me that I wanted to train as a special needs teacher. I still enjoy the work a lot today and it motivates me to support children in learning and developing. However, I do not only have experience working with children with disabilities. I often looked after my little cousins ​​(I still do today) and did a lot with them. I think I'll fit in well with your family because I'm used to working with a wide variety of children. I'm also very open and can adapt quickly to new children. I also have extensive pedagogical knowledge from my training and practical experience with children with behavioral problems. I also know a lot about first aid in emergency situations because I was a member of the Johanniter youth for several years and regularly take a first aid course at work. I'm looking forward to getting to know your family and having a great time in Canada.
