Although I have not officially been an Au Pair before, my experience in childcare is quite significant. At the end of 2018, my sister, who I consider my best friend, had her first daughter, my niece, and that was when I started to get more involved in childcare. During this time, I created a support routine with her, helping with daily tasks such as changing diapers, bathing and feeding my niece, so that my sister could have moments of rest and take care of her responsibilities.

In 2019, my sister moved to Italy and had her second daughter, and in 2024 I had the opportunity to spend three months babysitting my two nieces, aged 3 and 6, helping to take care of them during the summer holidays and when they went back to school, full-time. This time was an extremely enriching experience, where I was able to delve deeper into the daily care of children, with activities such as playing, helping with feeding, bathing and accompanying them in their routines. This experience gave me an immense love for life with children and gave me an even clearer vision of how rewarding it is to be part of their development.

These moments with my nieces taught me a lot about patience, adaptation and the positive impact we can have on a child's life, and it is this passion and dedication that I want to take to my future journey as an Au Pair.
