Dear family,
My name is David, and I'm looking to leave Spain. I'm contacting you because I'm very interested in starting my journey abroad as part of a family as an au pair. I'm a responsible, enthusiastic, and child-loving person, with a keen interest in learning about new cultures and sharing my own. I firmly believe that the au pair program is a unique opportunity to grow personally and professionally, and to begin my journey while building meaningful family and cultural ties.
I'm 22 years old and have been fortunate to have had experiences that have prepared me for this role. During the past five years, I've always had to take care of both my younger sister when she was growing up and now my younger cousin, and I've also been babysitting, helping out in my own family. These experiences have taught me to be patient, creative, and organized—essential skills for ensuring children's well-being and happiness. I also enjoy planning educational and fun activities, such as outdoor games, crafts, and reading, always adapting to each child's interests and needs. I am especially interested in joining a family in France or Portugal, as I admire their culture, language, and lifestyle. My goal as an au pair is not only to support you in raising your children, in addition to beginning my journey in that country to settle, but also to contribute to the cultural exchange, sharing traditions from my country, such as Spanish cuisine. In return, I am eager to learn about your daily life, improve my French and Portuguese, and become a member of your family.
Regarding my practical skills, I am an organized and proactive person. I can handle tasks such as housework, helping with homework in certain subjects, picking up children from school, or accompanying them to extracurricular activities. I am more than willing to acquire knowledge of the language and learn about the culture and its traditions.
I am confident that my positive energy, my commitment, and my love for children will make this experience enriching for everyone.
