Noelle (18 / Ms. ), American, Cashier living in USA looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands & United Kingdom for 8-12 Months

In terms of Au Pair, I have not had a live-in nanny experience yet, but I have traveled to many countries in the EU, and am well versed in larger scale childcare. I began spending my time at my local summer camp in 2017 going from a camper, to becoming a CIT (counselor in training). With the 5 years spent at the summer camp I gained valuable leadership traits, as well as getting my CPR/AED certification. The position also taught me how to handle groups of kids aged 6 to 14, and how to communi with my CIT peers efficiently, as well as how to respect my managers.

After summer, on my 16th birthday, I applied to my local gift shop and started working two weeks later. I have been working there ever since (almost two years). I was promoted from floor person to cashier, and have been taught how to work with money, properly treat customers, and de-escalate situations. Although I did get experience cleaning at my cashiering job, I really got used to cleaning my mother's AirBnB for two summers, where I was expected to make the house look brand new in a matter of days. I would love to be an Au pair abroad to experience different cultures, ways of living, and to get a well rounded view of the world. I want to further my childcare experience and connect with a nice family. I am always open to new experiences and challenges which is why I think the Au Pair program is the perfect fit for me.
