Hi! My name is Katherine, and I am a 19 year old college student from the United States. I am extremely passionate about childcare & supporting youth. I worked as an aid to children with disabilities for eight years, and I also have three summers of full-time nanny experience to a little boy with disabilities. I have many years of experience babysitting for various families with various types of kids, including children from ages 1-14.

I grew up with three siblings, so I am used to sharing a home. I also live with roommates at my university, so I am very good about cleaning up after myself and respecting the boundaries of shared space. I will be extremely respectful of my host family's rules, expectations, and traditions.

I understand Spanish very well, and I speak at an upper intermediate level. Living in Southern California, many of my close friends are from Latin America, so we speak in a mixture of English and Spanish together. I would love to improve my Spanish competence, so I would be happy to work with a bilingual family!
