Letter to the family

My name is Lisa and I am an art theory and history student at the Saint-Petersburg Arts Academy.
I want to become an Au-Pair and Live-in Tutor to be able to help with taking care of children because that's what I love doing, to teach art and languages and share my love for these subjects and to get a new experience of living in a different country because I think its important for my development as a person! I've already travelled the world quite a bit in my life and the experience was so fulfilling.
Im fluent in both English and Russian. I am a current scholarship art history student (an A-student, if it matters), have experience in tutoring kids English. In my spare time I like to read Russian and English classics, watch lectures on art, spend my time outside with friends and family. I'm a self-taught English speaker (we had it in school but most of the language I've learned myself) and frequently practice it by talking to my friends and relatives from different countries (I have many close relatives living in Europe). I'm also great with math and other school subjects so I could help a child with their homework. I'm doing a 2-week internship this July in a hospital, where we'll be teaching children about art, so that will be in my resume by the time of au-pairing. I have experience in working with kids because I've spent a lot of time taking care of a child of our family's friend, we would spend time together playing, reading, studying and just hanging out. I absolutely love spending time with her! I also have my own pet cat, so im experienced in taking care of pets :)
Since I was 14 I've always wanted to be independent and to help my parents as much as possible so I've been working a job almost every summer since then. Almost everything I own I've bought with my own money (whether it is from a job or a scholarship).
Since I study in university I can only work in late July, August-September (when we have a summer break).

Experience

It will be my first time working as au-pair abroad but totally not my first time working with kids! Like I said, I babysit my family's friend's daughter, who is in her last year of kindergarten. Mostly we play and learn English or something about nature together :) I also used to work as an English tutor for children in elementary school and am doing a 2-week internship this July in a hospital, where we'll be teaching children about art!
This fall I worked as a curator in online school that helps students pass their history exam to git into college. Its a big online school (Smit-Up by Elya Smith) and I had to work with 30 high school students. I would mostly grade their homework and play educational quizzes and games with them, write motivational and educational posts, plan out our extra-curriculum activities and video-chat with them. I applied there because I love educating myself and others. I believe a teachers (or curator's in my case0 job is not only to educate kinds on a subject , but also to teach them how to apply this knowledge and think with their own head, because learning critical thinking is necessary.
After graduating I want to work in education because I love working with people and sharing knowledge.
