Letter to the family

Dear families, very pleased to meet you, so let me introduce myself! My name is Johanna and I’m 21 years old. I’d like to try working as an Au Pair and get to know the culture of different countries. I’ve traveled a lot, and recently I’ve gained experience of fully living abroad. Also, one of the reasons why I decided to try working as an Au Pair is, unfortunately, that I was born and raised in Russia, but because of the war, I’m looking for options to study and work abroad for further relocation, since I don’t support the political direction of the country.

Experience

This is my first experience in this field, but I have certain knowledge and skills, as I am the middle of 5 children. My older sister and brother are 26 and 23, and my younger sisters are 5 and 3 years old. Although we do not live together, when I come to part of my family in Germany, I fully take care of the younger ones. I have also stayed to look after the children of my mother's friends for a couple of days several times, and once went to a camp as a junior counselor. I am a very easy-going and communicative person, I know how to find a common language with children, I can take care of toddlers, as well as help older children with homework and entertain them with various hobbies, for example, drawing.
