Dear Host Family,

Hi there! My name is Hailey, and I’m so excited at the thought of possibly becoming a part of your family.

I’m originally from sunny San Diego, California, and recently graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communication. While I’ve spent the past few years working in the marketing and design world, my roots are very much in childcare—and my heart never really left. I grew up in a big, busy household of myself and four siblings (two of whom I helped raise), and my family runs a children’s summer camp that I worked at for years. I’ve also spent time working with children’s theater programs and have been babysitting since I was old enough to be trusted with a diaper bag!

Working with kids has always come naturally to me. I find so much joy in their creativity, their honesty, and their sense of wonder. I love being a supportive, encouraging presence in a child’s life, whether that means helping with homework, playing pretend, or just being there with a warm hug when it’s needed.

I’m friendly, hardworking, and full of positive energy. I take pride in being adaptable, dependable, and always ready to pitch in where needed—but I also try to approach life with a sense of fun and lightness. I’d love to not only care for your children, but also truly be a part of your family—sharing meals, traditions, and laughs along the way.

Outside of work and childcare, I love being outdoors, going to the beach, reading, writing, and getting creative. I also adore music and theater—anything that lets people express themselves and connect with each other.

Becoming an Au Pair is my way of embracing a new chapter post-grad: one filled with new cultures, fresh perspectives, and meaningful experiences. I’d be honored to share that journey with your family and offer my support, love, and positive spirit to your home.
