Hello! My name is Gabby, and I am from San Francisco, California. I am a rising junior (third year) at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, studying economics, French, and Middle Eastern Studies. I will be in France this summer at the Institut d’Avignon, taking French classes, and then I am spending my fall semester in Paris, taking classes at Université Paris 8. I want to become an Au Pair because I love spending time with children, and I want to improve my French-speaking abilities. I am qualified for this position as I have experience working with young children. Last summer, I was a camp counselor at an arts and science day camp where I worked with children ages 5 and 6. I have also tutored kids at the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco and done community tutoring through my high school. For my elementary and middle school, I attended École Notre Dame des Victoires, a French Catholic school in Downtown San Francisco, where I took 30-minute French classes every day. I continued pursuing French in high school and am currently completing a French minor in college. I have never had the opportunity to have an extended stay in France, so I am super excited to learn about the culture and improve my language abilities. I am a very easygoing and adventurous person, and I have a lot of household skills, such as cooking and cleaning. I am very qualified for this position and excited for this opportunity!
