Hello! My name is María, I am 21 years old, and I’m from San Sebastián, a city in northern Spain.

I am currently in my last year of studying Business Administration and Management. Over the past three years, I have lived abroad several times for university exchange programs (in Poland and Mexico). These experiences have taught me so much and given me amazing memories. That’s why I would love to be an au pair—to improve my English, learn about a new culture, and become a small part of a family in another country.

I consider myself a cheerful, empathetic, proactive, and honest person. One of my strongest qualities is that I am very responsible.

I come from a big family—we are four siblings, and I am the middle child. Since I was little, I have always been surrounded by children, but my most special experience has been with my younger brother, who is 10 years younger than me. Since he was born, I have been very involved in his care, always helping. Taking care of him and watching him grow has given me a lot of experience with children of different ages and has taught me values like patience, responsibility, and kindness.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends and doing sports. I also enjoy music and going to the beach and I work in a restaurant.

My English level is basic, but I am very motivated to improve it during my time as an au pair.

I am available from August 2025, and I would like to stay for 4 to 7 months. I prefer cities over small towns, but I wouldn't mind living in a town, as long as it's a warm and welcoming environment where I can feel at home.
