Hi, dear family! ✨

My name is Júlia, but you can call me Jú. I am 22 years old and I was born and raised in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. My mother tongue is Portuguese, and if you want to, I can practice the language with your children. Soon, in January, I'll be graduated in the English Translation course of the University of Brasília, which I am doing since 2020. Because of that, I am very familiarized with the language. Also, I've worked in a bilingual school, where I used to both take care of children and talk a lot in English. It was amazing! I discovered my passion to teach, but also the fact that I love kids. My dream is to travel and discover new places where I can practice the language and, who knows, maybe someday I'll be a teacher. Plus, I love animals and I have two cats, so it is okay for me if you have pets.

Experience

* +700 hours as a teacher assistent in a bilingual school, taking care of around 15 children of the elementary year 2 (ages 6 & 7) during the class and of other students (ages 4 to 12) before and after the class and during the break-time.
* I has an autistic brother and help my parents taking care of him since he was born. Today he is 16 years old.
* Experience of volunteering in a daycare 3 days a week taking care of babies (ages 4 months - 4 years).
* On February, I'm starting a childcare course so I can gain also theorical knowledge, since I already have the practice.
