Letter to the family

Dear future host family!
I am interested in becoming an au pair because this is a way of combining the two things I truly love in life: travelling and children. Since I can remember I‘ve always wanted to travel to different places, see new things and experience different cultures. I love taking care of my younger cousins and I know I would really enjoy taking care of your children. I also tutor younger children and helping them brings me joy. I am responsible, caring, empathetic and flexible. I am looking forward to doing various activities with your children. For example: crafting, drawing, baking, cooking, sporty activities. In my free time I love going to the gym. I also love baking and cooking. Currently I am still going to school but I will graduate in June 2025. I would love to support your family and create a fun, loving environment for your children.

Experience

I have been taking care of my younger cousins for a long time now. When I was younger I just played with them but now they often sleep over and I cook for them, bathe them, take them to a playground or a swimming pool, read them a bedtime story, etc. My younger cousins are now 7,8 and 9. Last year, I completed the youth sports instructor training in multi-sports. Additionally, I tutor 3 children every week for a total of 6 hours. I’ve been doing that for the past two years. I want to be an Aupair because I want to see the world, learn about new cultures and improve my language skills. The au pair year interests me so much because I can combine it with taking care of children, which I love. I am looking forward to sharing a fun time with your children.
