I am from a small town on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State where we have amazing access to nature here. It is a quiet, slow-paced, and somewhat isolated community, so my parents raised my siblings and me to be travelers and exposed us to many cultures.
I am a visual artist and culinary enthusiast. love dancing, rowing, sailing (even though I am just a novice), and fencing.
I have been substitute teaching this past school year, and it would be nice to continue engaging in educational activities (with either children or adults).My bachelor's degree is in Linguistics and I have a TEFL (teaching English as a Foreign language) certificate, so I would be very comfortable teaching English to non-native speakers. I would also be excited and able to work on agricultural and art projects.
