Letter to the family

Hi dear family, my name is Chloé ! ?

It was with great enthusiasm that I have registered here for my first experience as an au pair. I would like to become an au pair because I would like to improve my English and meet new people from different cultures with whom I could form a bond and become part of a family !

I've worked with children in many different contexts.

I love the world of children and its fantasy. It's sometimes so surprising to talk to them. They have a way of looking at the world and talking about it that's so true and touching. The sensitivity of childhood is a treasure?.
I love having fun and laughing with them (I'm a big jokester, and motivated to learn news ones in English ?! )
I'm a responsible person who cares about children's safety, both physically and emotionally.

I'm comfortable with babies ? (I've already had the opportunity to look after many).

I love doing arts and crafts with children! I'm very creative in my personal life and it's always a pleasure to create with them ??.

It would be a pleasure for me to discover new things by trying this new experience ? !

Experience

My main goal in becoming an au pair is to improve my language skills.
To do so by traveling and discovering a new culture. Meeting new people and maybe making new friends.
To be able to help a family and spend time with children to whom I could share great values, give them good times that I hope will become good memories.

I'm looking forward to meeting new people and discovering a new place. I really want to be able to travel and discover the world. Au pair is a first step for me.
So I'm hoping to find a welcoming family who will make me feel at home and that this experience become a good memory.
I also hope to have some free time, for discovering the country.

I have already worked a lot with children.
First of all, coming from a large family, I'm used to taking care of younger children ❤️‍?.
Around the age of 15 I started babysitting. I've looked after children of all ages (from three-week-old babies to 10-year-olds).
Then, my mom is a school teacher and I love going to help her in her class. We do arts and crafts, play board games, read stories ⚽?✂️... She's a superb teacher and very good with the little ones.
I used to be an animator at my riding school. My job was to welcome schoolchildren and introduce them to the farm and its animals ??. Teaching them as much as possible in a fun way. It was so much fun to watch them marvel at discovering new things ?.
Later, I worked as an animator for weekly vacation courses on the theme of horses and emotions. On the program: discovering our emotions, learning to recognize and name them. How to deal with unpleasant ones ?? It's really interesting to work on this with horses, they are a mirror of human emotions. And to be able to communicate with them, you have to let go of your bad thoughts and just be in the present moment . All this is done in a playful atmosphere, with manual activities, learning sessions, games, rides ?...
I worked as an animator in a leisure center. It was really fun to build a program of manuals activities for them to do. It was a really enriching experience, and I became very attached to the children.
