My name is Sophia, I am 21 years old and I come from Brazil. I’m currently studying Psychology at university, and I’m truly passionate about the human mind and understanding how it works. I believe this passion deeply connects with my love for children—because in every child there is a whole new world of emotions, learning, and development happening every day.

My most recent experience with children was during my mandatory Community Actions Internship at university. In this project, I had the opportunity to visit NGOs that support underprivileged children. My role was to observe how a psychologist could contribute in such environments, offering emotional support and building healthy developmental strategies. This experience opened my eyes and heart even more to the importance of care, empathy, and presence in a child’s life.

I want to become an au pair not only because I love working with children, but also because I see it as a unique opportunity to grow as a person. Living abroad, meeting new people, discovering different cultures and ways of living—these are things that excite me and align with my goals, both personal and professional.
