Hello, I am Jessica I am 18 years old and I am currently working in a nursery. I really want to gain more experience working in home based childcare to increase my experience. I am very passionate about my job and I love to build connections with the children that I am working with. I am also interesting in being familiar with other cultures and picking up a new language as I love to learn new things. I have a level 3 qualification in childcare and I have a paediatric first aid certificate.

Experience

Although I have never been an au pair before I have worked in two nurseries and have completed a college placement; I have also done some casual babysitting for family from time to time. I would love to be an au pair because I think it would be such a unique experience and would allow for me to gain more childcare experience and knowledge. I would also love to be able to have more opportunities to do things you can't do in a nursery with the children, i.e. baking and going to the park etc.
