As part of my passion and chosen career i would like to impart to other ethnicity how Filipino care for their elderly and significant others. Showcasing the Filipino values, rich-filipino cultures and a family-oriented being.

I had a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a license nurse but I wasn't able to renew my license for the reason of practicality. Year 2014 i had my license as a Nurse and started to look for jobs in the Hospital around Davao City far from my hometown. However, that time the newly registered nurse won't be able to receive any salary, hazard pay nor any monetary benefits or whatsoever. I am already 21 years old at that time and I'm no longer dependent to my parents source of income and insurances. That time I am still asking from my parents for my flat rental, for fare back and fort from my work, daily expenses and for the insurances of my own. I worked only for 3 months in the Hospital and I decided not to continue to working. I solicited an advice from my aunt if ever i could be a private nurse to someone's significant others for as I am a registered nurse. I worked for 6 months on the Family Alvarez, I took care of his father, Mr. Wilfredo Alvarez 70 years of age, ambulatory and had a memory loss. His cognitive abilities was significantly declined and it interfere with his ability to perform his everyday activities. I did the best I could to support and continue his way of living; reminding him of his maintenance, accompanying him strolling around the vicinity getting some sunbath in the morning and such.

Well, Nanny is particularly a woman that is employed to look after a child/children. In my case, caring for a child no new to me. I have four(4) siblings and all of them were married and had children. In fact, I have two(2) nieces and six(6) nephews sometimes I took care of them when their mother had something to do or going out of town for a while. I bathed them cooked and fed them and let them play. Sometimes they slept overnight if they liked when they stayed home in the morning. I lived with my parents only three(3) of us in the house. My siblings were married and they stayed away from my parents, they have their own house.
