Letter to the family

My name is Laura Selma and I am a 21 year old girl from Denmark. I graduated high school in 2022, and I have been spending my gap years working and travelling. I have been travelling to a lot of different countries to experience the culture, the people, and the nature. But I would also like to stay in one country for a while, to learn more about the specific country and maybe learn a new language (or get better at one).
In my gap year I have worked as a substitute teacher where I have worked with kids from the age of 6 - 16. I have learned a lot at that job and it is something I will cherish for the rest of my life.
I have also worked as a sales assistant in a big supermarket.
I would be a good au pair, as I have a lot of experience working with children. I am a very caring person and I always want to do the best I can. I am very independent, and also very calm.

Experience

I would like to become an au pair to become part of someone’s family. Every person I have ever talked to that has been an au pair when they were young are still in contact with their host family and have formed an amazing bond with them. I would also like to learn about a different country, culture and practice the language. An make friends from different parts of the world.
